As reported last week on local news site About My Area, Aintree Coaches, the operator of the 272 bus service from Neston to Ellesmere Port have taken the decision to withdraw the service from the 21st July 2018.
In response to a great deal of concern expressed by the local community, we have taken the unusual step of establishing a petition online to try and encourage Aintree Coaches to reconsider their decision. We have never done this before but with so many groups of people being negatively affected, we thought it was important that decision makers understand the implications of the choices they make,
From the responses already received, it is clear that Young People, Older People, Vulnerable People, Unemployed and Working people believe that they will be negatively affected by this decision.
